Resources for Youth

The Partnership for Substance Free Youth of Buncombe County offers a variety of services to youth and school systems in the Greater Asheville area.

Education and Training

We have knowledgeable prevention professionals on staff to answer questions, show you how to use testing strips, provide up-to-date information, and tools to make living a healthy lifestyle more available

Community and Support

Our coalition provides a supportive community for youth, offering guidance, resources, and mentorship. Through collaboration with schools and families, we create a safe environment that empowers young people to make positive choices and overcome challenges.

Webinar Series

Check out our exciting webinar series, created in collaboration with Asheville-Buncombe Futures Movement, MAHEC, and Appalachian Mountain Health! Local youth have teamed up with professionals to ask important questions about alcohol, smoking/vaping, and marijuana. It’s a chance to learn, get real answers, and make informed choices. Don’t miss out!

Get the Facts

We partner with trusted resources like SAMHSA, the CDC, the DEA, and local initiatives such as Talk It Up, Lock It Up, and Lock Your Meds to provide valuable support and information in the fight against substance use.
